Whenever I view my Control Panel on my computer in thumbnail view, it does not show any names. All other sections of thumbnails work fine. It broke about a week ago my brother says.

Reinstall Windows is one fix. there may be others that are less drastic.

Try Alt+T, & Alt+O in the Control Panel folder you may find a option in the folder options View tab.
the only thing of cure to this in my opinion to remove all cookies in your computer and use some good antivirus or just re install the windows

Have you tried CCleaner or Bleachbit? a kind of helpful tool... but reinstalling does effective yet time consuming...
